LATINX POR VIDA
Written by: Sabrina Cabrera Rivera
Ciao to Latinx Heritage Month!
Como te sientes bellos y bellas? Have we learned a lot this month? Did you find a new creator to obsess over or a new Latinx brand to try? Have you learned something new about the Latinx community and the colorful culture that we share? We hoped that you did!
Mind if we share some of our memories of this month?
This month we were able to reach out to some old friends that we spoke with on our platform. We asked about their lives, how they have grown as artists or creators? Are they closer to their goals? What did Latinx Heritage mean to them? We want to show you how they have grown and where they are now. Make sure to check out socials to see some familiar faces out and about in a new series that will be coming soon in a cellphone or laptop near you.
We also have a few new voices that are ready to share pieces of their personal history and how they got to be the person they are today. We can’t wait for you to meet them! So please keep a lookout within the next few weeks so you can see some of our favorite creators in their element.
Now, let’s hope you all were paying attention last week because we have new merch! Yass bellas, bellos, y todo mi amores we have new merch for you! Our fabulous Founder, Kyra, has provided us with new shirts, tote bags, posters, and stickers for Latinx Heritage Month. "LATINX POR VIDA"
While this month is our highlight reel, please remember to continue to celebrate and empower Latinx creators and artists! There is not a single day that passes that we appreciate the recognition that our community provides to us and our fellow creators. Just simply sharing, commenting, or liking a post is enough to spread awareness and helps offer our community a better platform to speak.
While we do appreciate the month to highlights our community but our Latinidad should be celebrated every day. Nunca olvides quién eres y viva la Latinx!
So goodbye Latinx Heritage Month! As always we will continue to celebrate as we wait for next year.
Share your favorite Latinx brands or creators down in the comments. We would love to empower our fellow creators! #latinxporvida #supportlatinx
